Ipswich Shotokan Dojo is to present a course and grading with Sensei Ohta 7th Dan. Sensei Ohta is highly respected all over the World for his vast knowledge of Shotokan karate and his amazing technical ability. He travels throughout England, Europe and beyond and is very popular instructor. He has agreed to teach in our Ipswich Dojo and then grade students, I feel this is a great tribute to Ipswich Shotokan for Sensei Ohta to attend. It puts our Dojo up there with all the best Dojo’s.
I have personally known Sensei Ohta since the early 1980’s and have the privilege to have his stamp on my old license many times, so it will be absolutely amazing to have Sensei back in our Dojo. We all now have several months to get ourselves ready for his visit we must dedicate every training session to improving our abilities to pass the rigorous test that is ahead of us in 2025. As from now till the course and grading please attend every possible training session, you must aim for at least two sessions a week if not more.
